Pro-Life, Pro-Family, Pro-God, & Pro-Blessing

"when the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan"

Pro-Life

The inviolable right to life possessed by every innocent human being shall not be deprived regardless of race, color, creed, religion, citizenship, ancestry, national origin, sex, age, health, function, or condition of dependency, at any stage of biological development from conception until natural death. Conception shall, herein, be understood to mean that point at which a single-cell human zygote has 46 chromosomes, irrespective of artificial or natural means. We further assert that the ability to fully clone human beings does not confer the moral or ethical authority to do so, and it should be permanently banned.

Pro-Family

According to the Judeo-Christian ethic, the nuclear family is modeled as a two-parent, committed, married relationship which binds together adult members of the opposite sex. The usefulness of marriage and its God-ordained boundaries, besides the obvious possibility of procreation, lie in its ability to forge emotional, spiritual, physical, and legal ties that are designed to last a lifetime. Homosexuality, bestiality, polygamy, incest, pedophilia, prostitution, fornication, pornography, adultery, and other promiscuous sex is an abomination to God and counter-productive to maintenance of the family structure -- society's most basic building block. Public policy should favor building stronger families, and, notably, should allow for both public and private condemnation of anti-family behavior as guaranteed in the U.S. Constitution's first amendment.

Pro-God

In agreement with the founding fathers of this country, officeholders should affirm, or at the very least show no hostility to, the existence of the God who commands “love your neighbor as yourself” AND “love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you”. This affirmation would include the acknowledgement of God in its public inscriptions, invocations, proclamations, and more generally the free exercise of all religious liberties guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution and which, furthermore, the U.S. Declaration of Independence ascribes as rights that are "unalienable and endowed by their Creator".

Pro-Blessing

No one who does violence to the integrity of the office they hold shall in any way be worthy of repeated selection. Nor shall dishonor in previous affairs, be they public or private, be discounted. Public servants are held to a higher standard because of the influence they carry. Suppression of the truth, sexual immorality, covetousness, and pride have all drawn the wrath of God. Therefore, if a man or woman be “pro-life”, “pro-family”, and “pro-God”, then let them also qualify as “pro-blessing”: adhering to and promoting the moral absolutes that define the Judeo-Christian ethic.
